Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) an all India common entrance test is conducted to select students on the basis of ‘merit cum preference’ in various National Law University for admission to their Under-Graduate (UG) programmes, as per the eligibility, reservation and other criteria laid down under the respective statutes of the participating Universities.
CLAT is conducted on rotational basis by 19 National Law Universities (NLUs). The 19 participating NLUs in the order of their year of establishment are:
A candidate should have obtained a Senior Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC and ST candidates).
Candidates shall be below Twenty (20) Years of age as on 1st July 2018
